Boogles
Boogles Ltd was founded in 2004 by award-winning entrepreneur Lisa Newton and primarily offers an on-site bookkeeping service to businesses, charities and self-employed individuals across the London area. The legal bookkeeping division was set up to specifically take care of the legal profession, whose accounting needs are more specialised, as there are the Solicitors Accounts Rules which have to be observed.
Irene Danso, who manages the legal bookkeeping division has over 20 years experience as a legal cashier and in working closely with solicitors in firms of all size – from small one partner firms, up to large solicitor practices. Boogles solicitor clients are in litigation, franchising & employment law. There are a team of cashiers – all clients are allocated one cashier to do their books.
Boogles are open daily. They’re contactable, visible and approachable. There is no disappearing into the night with your paperwork or difficulty in getting hold of your bookkeeper. They can implement and advise on bookkeeping systems – which will help your practice to run more smoothly; Train you or your current cashier on legal software; Cover a cashier on maternity leave; Or just come in (as and when needed) to bring your accounts up to date.
